"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Thankyou to everyone who supported my work over the last four months, it has been a pleasure and an honour getting to know some of you. I have removed all my deviations and requested that my account be closed. Some of you may have recently seen a Deviation by leosss, LTD or whatever name he cowardly chooses to hide behind that was posted in the visual styles gallery. This poor excuse of a human being feels the need to gain gratification by deriding the work of a Long Term ,Talented, Caring, Selfless Contributor to the Deviantart Community in order to get his jolly's and as if this is not bad enough this excellent example of poor taste has been allowed to stay posted in excess of 16 hours. If this is how DA shows it's appreciation to one of it's Community Gems, then sadly I wish no part of it.
Thankyou once again to all my friends and I wish you all the best for the Festive Season, and who knows hopefully we will meet again in better times.

I sent an e-mail to leosss, because I was interested in getting to the bottom of this. If for no other reason than to show you (tadad) that this whole situation came about because of an unfortunate misunderstanding.
Leosss does not speak (or write, rather) english very well. It is not his native language. He's Argentinian, it would seem. Now, what he wanted to do originally, was to post a comment on your visualstyle. He didn't like it very much, and he wanted to tell you, which is his right.
BUT . . . for some reason, so he claims, he couldn't post a comment, or perhaps no further comments wer allowed. Whatever, the case, that's the problem he faced. So, in order to post a comment, he simply re-posted a *screenshot* of your visualstyle in order to comment on it and to allow further comments. NOT the best way to do things, but his intention was NOT TO RIP your work. It was not a rip, just a very odd way of doing things.
This guy was indeed sarcastic with his comment, and he was poking fun at your style. But it was only intended as a comment on your submission, no more.
He's no coward, actually, just someone who has been misunderstood, and who really didn't understand submission rules. Obviously, once comments are closed, or even if comments don't work for some reason, it's not a good idea to go ahead and re-post the pic in order to open it up to comments.
So, leosss never really bore you any animosity. The combination of his current level of english skill, and his ignorance as to proper form when commenting, all resulted in this massive misunderstanding.
I hope this clears things up. And it is certainly *no reason at all* for you to pack up your toys and leave deviantart.

Not only do you not have a shred of proof that this leoss idiot is me (LTD), but in the presence of clear evidence to the contrary, namely my welcoming you to my profile and picture at customize.org, which you then immaturely posted in the visualstyles section as some sort of backhanded attack on me, you *still* make wild assumptions.
I live Mississauga (just outside Toronto) in Ontario, Canada, and I am a law student attending the University of Toronto. I have bigger fish to fry than spend my time posting things simply to get a rise out of you. Which is what this leoss person (who seems to be based in Argentina) is doing.
With absolutely NO PROOF you have the gall complain of persecution, and you publicly slander my name, which is FAR DIFFERENT from me posting a negative review of your work, which is not only my right, but is also well within the TOS of Deviantart.
I'm sorry that some loser has taken advantage of you and has upset you enough that you feel you need to leave deviantart. But it is extremely ungentlemanly of you to make *assumptions* and then throw around accusations.
You're not hurting me by doing this. Although I sympathize with your predicament, you've shown everyone how easy it was for this leoss person to cow you into submission, and by your wholly inappopriate response, you've shown that you're more interested in pettiness and ad hominem attacks on innocent people, rather than the TRUTH.
